Easy to eat, just:

  • Steam

Once you have removed the seeds and flesh, toss the shell in your compost (or outside for the squirrels) and get busy adding the pumpkin to some of the following delicious foods and drinks:

  • Smoothies
  • Juicing
  • Pie
  • Bread
  • Risotto

  • Biscuits
  • Soups or stews
  • Cookies
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Add to hot chocolate or coffee
  • Anything you like!

My favorite way to eat pumpkin is by steaming it, then scraping the flesh from the shell. Stir in coconut oil, agave, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. Served with roasted chicken and asparagus. Yummy!
