Almonds

Almonds

Raw almonds are full of nutrients, including protein, monounsaturated fats, magnesium, vitamin E, and B vitamins. All of these important nutrients play a role in weight management, cellular metabolism support, increased blood flow, antioxidants, healthy fats, skin protection, and reduced cholesterol and risk of heart disease. Also, almonds are a gluten-free food, high in protein, and full of fiber. All of these health benefits with as little as one handful (about 12) of almonds per day. AND…due to all these wonderful healthful properties, almonds are a proud member of the “Super Food” category!

Some great ways to enjoy you almonds are on salads, in smoothies, baked goods, pesto, granola, almond milk, pasta, in yogurt, almond butter, or just plain pop em in your mouth and chew, chew, chew… Enjoy!
